More than 50 houses in Saptari’s Tilathi inundated

SAPTARI: More than 50 houses in Tilathi village of Saptari have been inundated as the flooded Khando stream entered the human settlements.

According to local Upendra Yadav, the incessant rainfall inundated the Belhi village including Belhi customs, market places and offices of Nepal Police, and Armed Police Force.

Likewise, the Rajbiraj-Tilathi road has also been damaged. Traders have incurred huge loss as their shops and stalls have been waterlogged.

Floods have also damaged paddy plantation in several hundred bighas of land.

Likewise, Behil Basti in Behanbihul in the district has also been inundated due to the flood in the Behankhola forcing people to move elsewhere to save their lives.
