Coronavirs infects over 21,000 in past 24 hrs in Brazil

KATHMANDU: More than 21,000 people reported to be infected with coronavirus pandemic in a single day in Brazil.

With this the number of infection cases has reached 1,887,959 in Brazil.

According to the latest figures collated by Worldometer, the death toll from coronavirus in Brazil has reached 72, 921 after 770 died in the last 24 hours.

Currently, 601,526 people are undergoing treatment at various hospitals in the country, of which 8,318 are critical. Meanwhile, 1,213,512 have recovered after treatment.

Broke out in Wuhan City of China on December 31, 2019, the coronavirus has spread to 213 countries including two international conveyances, infecting 13,235,751 and killing 575,525 people globally.
