23-yr-old man held for posting porn video



KATHMANDU: Police have arrested a person on the charge of making a porn video of a 17-year-old girl and posting  it on website.

Cyber Bureau of Nepal Police took under control of 23-year-old Suraj Shrestha of Gongabu, Kathmandu and made him public on Monday.

SP Nabindra Aryal, the spokesperson for the Cyber Bureau, said Shrestha was held for posting a porn video on website, thereby committing cybercrimes.

The investigation into the case is underway by taking the arrested on a seven-day remand from Kathmandu District Court.

If Shrestha is found guilty, he will be charged under Chapter 9 of The Electronic Transactions Act, 2008.
