KATHMANDU: The Meteorological Forecasting Division has stated that brief rain/ thundershowers is likely to occur at some places of Province 1, Province 2, Bagmati Province, Gandaki Province and Province 5 and at a few places of Karnali Province and Sudurpaschim Province on Sunday.
In a weather bulletin for today, it said that there are chances of heavy rainfall at one or two places of Province 1 and Province 2.
Currently, monsoon winds are blowing from the eastern part of Nepal and westerly winds are affecting the western parts, it said.
The meet office has requested to maintain caution stating that there is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder/lightning in some parts of the country.
