17-month child diagnosed with Kala Azar in Bajura

BAJURA: A 17-month child from Gotri of Jagannath Rural Municipality -5 of Bajura has been diagnosed with Kala Azar.

The case has been detected on Devindra Budha, according to Dr Rajuraj Joshi, Chief of the Primary Health Post, Kolti.

The child is suffering from fever for around the past one month and was brought to the center.

He has been referred to Dhangadhi for further treatment at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
