China donates medical appliances to Nepal

CHAUTARA:  The government of China has donated medical appliances to the Bhote Rural Municipality in Sindhupalchowk district to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.

The representatives from the Chinese government handed over those medical goods to Rural Municipality’s Vice-Chair Dabuti Sherpa at Simapul (Border Bridge) at Tatopani in Sindhupalchowk.

The medical appliances include 2,000 sets of N 95 masks, 5,000 sets of surgical masks, two sets of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and five-set of the thermal gun.

Similarly, 50 sets of a mercury thermometer and 200 sets of isolation gowns were provided to the rural municipality.

The Chinese side also pledged more support in the future.
