Cabinet meeting summoned for Tuesday, lockdown extension likely

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Oli has summoned a meeting of Council of Ministers at 11 am on Tuesday morning.

It is learned that the meeting to be held at the prime minister’s residence in Baluwatar will decide to extend the lockdown by a minimum of one week.

Nepal has currently enforced a lockdown ending on Wednesday.

Press Advisor to PM Oli, Surya Thapa, said that the meeting slated for Monday was rescheduled for tomorrow due to a meeting of Disaster Management Committee.

Nepal has got 14 coronavirus cases so far.
