Dispute over breaching lockdown claims life



RAJBIRAJ: A dispute over breaching lockdown has claimed the life of an elderly woman in the district on Monday.

Police had used force on youth breaching the lockdown at Khadka Municipality-6, Birpur.

The law enforcement agency had resorted to baton charge after the youth disobeyed the police call to return home.

Local 65-year-old woman Jayanab Khatun too had protested the enforcement of the lockdown. She then fell unconscious on the road.

The woman was then taken to Gajendra Narayan Singh Sagarmatha Zonal Hospital where doctors pronounced her brought dead.
