NCP Chair Dahal hopeful of success in defeating COVID-19 pandemic



KATHMANDU: Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Chair and former Prime Minister, Pushpa Kamal Dahal  has called for attaining victory in the fight against coronavirus (COVID-19) on the back of high self-confidence, self-discipline and national unity.

In a message of best wishes to all fellow Nepalis on the occasion of the New Year 2077 BS today, he urged all to strictly abide by the policy and program including the lockdown that the government has brought in connection with the prevention, control, and treatment of coronavirus.

He expressed the belief that the New Year will provide a basis for a new international unity and national unity of the human race itself in the fight against the novel coronavirus that has been attacking people of all races, communities, states, religious communities and classes.

The ruling NCP Chair also wished that the New Year brought good health, peace, and prosperity along with complete success to the human race and the entire Nepalis who are struggling against the COVID-19 pandemic.
