Spain registers 17, 209 deaths, 166, 831 infection cases

KATHMANDU: Spain, the second worst-hit country in terms of infection cases, has reported 17, 209 deaths after 603 died in the last 24 hours.

With the 3, 804 new cases, the total number of infection cases has reached 166, 831 as of Monday morning.

Currently, 87, 231 people are undergoing treatment at various hospitals in the country, of which 7, 371 are critical. Meanwhile, 62, 391 have returned home after recovery.

Broke out in Wuhan City of China, the deadly virus has spread to 210 countries including two international conveyances, killing 114, 160 and infecting 1,851,264 people globally as of Monday morning.
