Forest official held with Rs 200,000 bribe

KATHMANDU: The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) caught red-handed  Shantamaya Shrestha, an official of Division Forest Office, Dolakha with a bribe.

Acting on a tip-off, the anti-graft body arrested her with the bribe at Gaththaghar in Bhaktapur while she was coming to Kathmandu on Thursday.

Shrestha was held with Rs 200,3000 in bribe while she was traveling to Kathmandu in a vehicle, Ba 1 Jha 7685.
