Two Nepalis, one Chinese admitted in suspicion of contracting Covid-19 discharged



KATHMANDU: Three patients admitted to the Teku-based Shukraraj Tropical and Infectious Disease Hospital on suspicion of contracting Covid-19 have been discharged.

Hospital’s Spokesperson Dr. Anup Bastola said that they were discharged on Thursday after they were tested negative for the disease.

According to him, the tests were carried out at the National Public Health Laboratory.

One Chinese national and two Nepalis who had recently returned from China were admitted to the isolation ward at the hospital on Thursday.

The hospital stated that some 23 people have been tested for Covid-19 so far and out of them, only one was confirmed to be infected.
