Indian national arrested in Nepal for hundi transactions

PARSA: Nepal Police has arrested an Indian national on the charge of his alleged involvement in illegal money transfer called hundi.

The arrested is 21-year-old Jabiullah Alam of Motihari district in the Indian state of Bihar. Police seized Rs 300,000 from his possession.

The law enforcement agency said he was arrested from Rajat Jayanti Chowk in Birgunj while he was heading to the city on a motorcycle with the Indian registration number, BR 05 V 3444.
