KATHMANDU: The Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) said it would not allow vehicles from parking inside Khulamanch from Wednesday.

The KMC made the decision to this effect coming under the pressure from the citizens in Kathmandu demanding the local authorities to vacate the open space.

According to KMC Ward-18 Chairman, Bhai Ram Khadgi, the Khulamanch will be open for public events soon.

The Khulamanch is currently being used as bus park while various construction materials being used for the reconstruction of Durbar High School have been kept at a section of the ground.
