Bus mishap victims’ kin block road for compensation



TANAHUN: Families and relatives of those killed in road mishap that occurred at Thanimai in Ghiring rural municipality-3 have blocked the road to Bhimad municipality.

Agitating kin and locals have barred the vehicles from entering into the bazaar of Bhimad municipality-6, demanding compensation.

Muna Thapa, 20, of Ghiring rural municipality-1, Nanimaya Gurung, 42, of Ghiring-3 had been killed when a passenger bus, Ga 1 Kha 6175, went out of control and fell down the road at Thanimai on Friday.

The ill-fated bus, Ga 1 Kha 6175, was heading to Pokhara from Rampur of Palpa.

A total of 22 others had been injured in the accident.
