Man crushed to death by bus in Gorkha



GORKHA: A man has died after being crushed by the same bus that he had been traveling in.

The accident took place at Thalajung in Siranchowk rural municipality-2.

The deceased has been identified as Buddghi Bahadur Ramtel, 48, of the Siranchowk rural municipality, according to the District Traffic Office, Gorkha chief Mitra Lal Dhakal.

The bus (Na. 3 Kha. 8143) was heading to Kerabari from the district headquarters, Gorkha when the accident took place.

Ramtel fell down as he was getting off the bus and was crushed by the rear wheels of the bus in the incident that took place on Saturday evening.

Seriously injured, he was declared dead upon reaching the primary health center in Bhacheka. The bus driver has been taken into custody for necessary action, police said.
