MORANG: A coronavirus-infected woman from Jhapa, who was undergoing treatment at Nobel Medical College in Biratnagar, has died.

A 55-year-old woman of Jhapa Gauradaha-5 died at around 11:30 pm on Saturday night, said Narayan Dahal, manager of the hospital.

She was admitted to the hospital for treatment after her PCR test was positive for the pandemic on December 6.

Dahal said that the deceased had respiratory problems and a high fever.
