Lumbini Province Assembly Deputy Speaker tests COVID-19 positive



BUTWAL: The coronavirus infection has been confirmed in 34 members of the provincial assembly secretariat and Deputy Speaker Krishni Tharu of the Lumbini Province Assembly.

Swab samples of 95 people were collected after Speaker Purna Bahadur Gharti was diagnosed coronavirus positive.

The results of 10 people are yet to arrive.

Those who have been confirmed to be infected include the secretary of the province assembly secretariat, accounting officer, health inspector, eight marshals, and seven security personnel.
