NCP Chief Whip Gurung tests COVID-19 positive



KATHMANDU: Chief Whip of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Dev Gurung has been diagnosed positive for the coronavirus.

Gurung underwent a PCR test on Sunday, and the test result is said to be positive.

The report of Gurung’s wife Yashoda Subedi, who is a Member of the Federal Parliament, is yet to arrive.

Gurung said that his health condition was normal despite fever and cough.
