Public vehicles allowed to carry passengers to their full capacity

KATHMANDU: The government has decided to allow public vehicles to carry passengers to their full capacity, targeting the festive season. With this decision, the fare has been adjusted to normal.

Earlier, considering the risk of coronavirus infection, the government had allowed the public vehicles to ferry passengers to only half of their cacacity and charge double the previous fare.

The government took this decision in order to ease the public transport by adopting health safety measures during the festive season.

Meanwhile, the international border will remain closed for a month in view of the risk of coronavirus, according to the decision.
