Now, PCR test will cost only Rs 2,000



KATHMANDU: The government has reduced the price for the Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test amid increasing number of coronavirus cases in the country.

Speaking at a regular press briefing, Dr Jageshwor Gautam, Spokesperson at Ministry at Health and Population informed that the test will be conducted with the maximum price of Rs 2,000 in all government and private laboratories.

Earlier, the price of the test was Rs 4,400.
