Gandaki Province reports 29 new coronavirus cases



POKHARA: Another 29 coronavirus cases have been reported in Gandaki on Sunday morning in tests held at Tuberculosis Treatment Center, Pokhara.

The newly infected are ten from Lamjung, six from Nawalparasi East, seven from Gorkha, one from Syangja and five from Tanahun.

The Gandaki Province Directorate of Health stated that all the infected were identified through contact tracing. With the new cases, the coronavirus tally in the province has reached 2,968.

So far, the number of people recovering from the disease in the province is 1,814 and the recovery rate is 61.11 percent.

A total of 24 people have succumbed to the pandemic in the province so far.
