India’s COVID-19 death toll crosses 78,000-mark

KATHMANDU: India’s coronavirus tally has crossed the 4.7 million-mark after over 94,000 cases in a single day.

As many as 94,409 cases were reported in the past 24 hours, taking the tally to 4,751,778 on Sunday morning.

Meanwhile, 3.6 million people infected with coronavirus have recovered while 973,868 people are undergoing treatment at various hospitals and isolation centers.

Similarly, the death toll from the coronavirus has crossed 78,000 in India.

With 1,108 deaths in the last 24 hours, the number of deaths from the virus has reached 78,614, according to Worldometers.
