Two killed in Hetauda truck-auto rickshaw collision



HETAUDA: Two people died and another one sustained critical injures in a truck-auto rickshaw collision at Hetauda Sub Metropolitan City-3, Basamadi along the East-West Highway.

The deceased have been identified as 32-year-old Baburam Rumba and 35-year-old Amrit Lopchan of Manahari rural municipality-5. They were travelling in the auto rickshaw, District Police Office, Makwanpur said.

The injured is 47-year-old Thulokanchha Khadka of Manahari rural municipality-5. He is undergoing treatment at Chure Hill Hospital, Hetauda.

According to DSP Indra Bahadur Rana of DPO, Makwanpur, the accident took place when an auto rickshaw, Na 2 Ha 3466, heading to Hetauda Bazaar from Bastipur collided head-on with a truck, Na 6 Kha 1611, coming from the opposite direction on Thursday.
