Ratamate-Batase-Kavre road obstructed since past two weeks



KATHMANDU: The Ratamate-Batase-Kavre road section in the western part of the district is still obstructed due to landslides.

The road section at Mahankal Rural Municipality is obstructed due to landslides triggered by incessant rainfall occurred on July 20 and 21.

According to rural municipality chair Ram Chandra Dahal, the road section remains obstructed since long as road construction contractor company is failing to clear the debris deposited on the road by landslides.

The road section about 300 meters long is damaged by landslides there.

Chairman Dahal further complained that three rural municipalities including Mahankal are facing frequent disruption of power supply of late.

He further added that the power disruption has affected online classes of the students in the locality.
