BAITADI: An adolescent girl died of scrub typhus infection in Baitadi district.
The deceased has been identified as Puja Joshi, 14, of Dogadakedar rural municipality-3, Shreekot.
Puja breathed her last on the way to the Kohalpur Medical College for treatment.
The infected girl was taken to Dhangadhi-based Sarathi Hospital from Baitadi via Dadeldhura Hospital.
Her relative Shanker Dutta Bhatta informed she died on the way to the Kohalpur Hospital from Dhangadhi for further treatment.
