Nepali minor boy killed in Toronto road mishap



TORONTO: A Nepali minor boy has died in a road accident at Etobicoke of Toronto, the capital city of Ontario Province in Canada.

The deceased is the three-year-old son of Ramesh Bhattarai and Sabin Pathak.  Originally from Madi, Chitwan, they had gone to Canada four years ago.

Ramesh, 36, and his seven-year-old daughter sustained injuries in the accident that occurred on Tuesday, said Toronto Police.

They are undergoing treatment at a local hospital.

Ramesh has been discharged after treatment while his daughter is undergoing treatment at the emergency ward of SickKids Hospital in Toronto, said NRNA Canada General Secretary Pitambar Bhattarai.

According to Toronto Police, they were hit by a vehicle while they were crossing road.
