Man dies at quarantine facility in Dang



PYUTHA: An 18-year-old man of Udayapurkot in Mandabi rural municipality-4 in the district has died at a quarantine facility on Saturday morning.

He had a headache and respiratory problems and was vomiting, said the rural municipality chair Sridhar Rokka.

He died on the way to a hospital in Butwal. After returning from India where he had gone for a job, he had stayed at a quarantine facility at Bangalachuli rural municipality in Dang district.

PCR reports of the deceased are awaited.

Swabs of 131 people who had stayed at the quarantine facility along with the deceased have been collected and sent for PCR tests, Rokka said.
