Nepal has not sought to deteriorate relations with any country: NCP Gen Secy Poudel



KATHMANDU: General Secretary of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) and Member of Parliament Bishnu Poudel has said that Nepal has not sought to deteriorate relations with any country due to the new map.

During the discussion on the Constitution Amendment Bill in the House of Representatives, General Secretary Poudel said, “I have heard comments that relations with India will deteriorate. This decision is in favor of Nepal, not against anyone.”

Stating that Nepal wants to take forward the relations with both the neighbors in a new way, he said, “We want to take forward the good relations with the neighbors in a new way. Nepal has never been dependent. At some point, our land was encroached upon, and now we are trying to bring it back.”
