KATHMANDU: The number of coronavirus infection cases has climbed to 184 in Bagmati Province.

With the 39 new cases confirmed on Friday, the number of infection cases has reached 184 in the province.

The new infection cases are 29 from Dhading, eight from Chitwan, one each from Nuwakot and Kathmandu, said Dr Purushottam Sedhai, chief at Coronavirus Department under the Ministry of Social Development of Bagmati Province.

According to Sedhai, 43 among those infected have returned home after recovery while four have died from the deadly virus in Bagmati Pradesh.

A total of 5,062 people have been infected with the coronavirus and 16 people have died from it across the country so far.
