Rain coupled with gusty winds forecast today

KATHMANDU: The Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) has predicted rain coupled with gusty winds in some parts of the western region of the country on Thursday.

Most parts of the western, central and eastern regions are covered in clouds currently and rain is likely to occur in the western region, said meteorologist Barun Paudel.

The met office has forecast generally cloudy weather in the western region and partly cloudy in the rest of the country with chances of isolated brief rain at a few places of the western region towards afternoon.

Likewise, generally cloudy weather is expected in the eastern and central regions and partly cloudy in the rest of the country with chances of thundershowers at a few places of the hilly regions.

Similarly, the met office has predicted cloudy weather compounded by gusty winds and lightning in most parts of the country on Friday.
