One dies in NA Vehicle mishap

DANG: One on board died when Nepal Army’s Lu 1 Ga 123, heading to Dang from Salyan met with an accident at Kapurkot-3, Chorkhola, on Wednesday.

When a vehicle carrying seven people and the artillery heading for Butwal via Dang from Salyan skidded off the road at Kapurkot-3, Chorkhola, one died leaving 4 badly injured on Wednesday. According to the sources at Ripudal Gan Ghorahi, the injured 4 are undergoing treatment in Rapti Regional Hospital, whereas 2 are still missing at the site.

The vehicle has fallen 500 meter down the road.  As the vehicle had been carrying artilleries including bombs, rescue efforts have gone more complicated.

In the meantime, NA helicopter has reached Dang to bring the injured to Kathmandu.
