Mortar bombs strike Iraqi military base of Balad: Sources



TIKRIT: Seven mortar bombs fell inside Iraq’s Balad air base that houses U.S. forces, international media reports have said.

Four Iraqi soldiers were injured in the attack.

Reports said that the mortar bombs fell in the runway inside the base some 80 km north of Baghdad. (Agencies)
