15 more succumb to COVID-19, tally hits 1,689

KATHMANDU: As many as 15 COVID-19 patients succumbed to the pandemic in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the new deaths have taken the country’s death toll from the coronavirus to 1,689 as of Saturday afternoon.

Meanwhile, the country recorded a total of 899 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the coronavirus tally reached 247,593 in the country as of Saturday afternoon.

Likewise, the Ministry shared that now the country has 11,673 reported active cases of the virus.

In the past 24 hours, altogether 1,359 infected people got recovery from the virus infection.

So far, 234,231 people recovered from the coronavirus infection in the country.
