Indian national arrested in Nepal with 200,000 Indian rupees



MORANG: Police have arrested a man from Biratnagar with illegal Indian rupees.

A police team deployed from Materuwa Temporary Police Post at Islampur, Biratnagar Metropolitan City-17 on Friday arrested an Indian national.

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Man Bahadur Rai at District Police Office, Morang, 56-year-old Mahesh Chandra, a resident of West Delhi, India, was arrested with 199,000 Indian rupees.

The law enforcement agency seized 390 notes in the denomination of IRs 500 and two notes in the denomination of IRs 2,000.
