40-yr-old woman dies of coronavirus in Chitwan



CHITWAN: A woman has died from coronavirus in the course of treatment at Bharatpur Hospital.

A 40-year-old woman succumbed to the virus in the course of treatment on Sunday night, informed Liladhar Paudel, the information officer for the hospital.

The patient, who had been admitted to the hospital on October 1 with complaints of fever, cough and respiratory problems, had tested for coronavirus on October 5.

She was shifted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) on the same day and was undergoing treatment.
