40-yr-old succumbs to COVID-19 in Rupandehi

BUTWAL: One more person has died from coronavirus while undergoing treatment at COVID Special Hospital in Rupandehi district.

A 40-year-old man of Omsatiya-4 who was being treated on a ventilator succumbed to the coronavirus on Friday night, said Dr Sudarshan Thapa of the hospital.

He had been admitted to COVID Special Hospital on September 1 after he was diagnosed with the COVID-19 during PCR test at Lumbini Provincial Hospital.

He was also a diabetic patient, according to Thapa.
