Three COVID-19 cases found in Sankhu



SANKHU: Three people have been found infected with COVID-19 in Shankharapur municipality.

Two persons at the municipality’s ward number 9 and one person at ward number 7 have tested positive for coronavirus.

Those infected in ward number 9 are a mother and her son, the ward chairman Ghanashyam Thapa said.

They are being treated at Patan Hospital. Similarly, the infected person at ward number 7 is from Bara district.

He worked at the Sankhu bus park. It is said he arrived in Sankhu only two days back from Bara.

The person has been sent to Teku for treatment. From Teku, he has been sent to Kirtipur, it is learnt.
