Woman returnee from UAE tests COVID-19 positive 



KATHMANDU: A woman evacuated to Nepal from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has tested positive for coronavirus.

A total of 157 Nepalis had arrived in Nepal from the UAE last Friday.

 A 26-year-old woman from the same team was confirmed to have coronavirus infection during the test, the source said.

Upon her arrival in Nepal, she was placed in the Kharipati quarantine on the first day.

She was shifted to the quarantine in Mulpani on the second day and her sample was collected for the coronavirus test.

She has been sent to the isolation of Patan Hospital today and the contact tracing of those who came in contact with her is being done, said a source.
