Doti’s first coronavirus infected returns home

DOTI: The first coronavirus infected person from Doti has been discharged from the hospital after recovery.

A 25-year-old youth from Shikhar municipality-3, who had returned home district from India, was discharged from the isolation ward of the Doti District Hospital after 15 days, according to the hospital.

Hospital’s chief and officiating Medical Superintendent, Dr Jyoti Pandey said that the person got recovered and discharged from the hospital. He had tested positive for Coronavirus on June 1.

The hospital performed PCR tests on him, his wife and son keeping him at isolation ward of the hospital after his son complained health complications.

However, his wife and son tested negative for coronavirus.

Still five more coronavirus infected people from the district are receiving care and treatment at isolation wards.
