Minister Bhattarai urges Turkish investors to invest in Nepal



KATHMANDU: Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Yogesh Bhattarai has urged Turkish businesses persons to invest in Nepal.

Bhattari urged them during a virtual meeting with the Turkish business persons.

He called for investments in hydropower and tourism sectors in Nepal.

Stating the present government was committed to the country’s economic prosperity and development, Minister Bhattarai assured the prospective investors of an investment-friendly environment here.

He also said there is an opportunity for investment in the hydropower and tourism sector in Nepal.

President of Foreign Economic and Relations Board of Turkey, Neil Olpak, Turkey’s ambassador to Nepal, Shakir Ojan Torunler, Trade Council of Turkey’s president, Mushtafa Akinsilar had participated in the virtual meeting, the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation said.
