Driver killed as truck plunges into river



CHITWAN: A truck driver has died after the truck he was driving met with an accident at Ichchhakamana rural municipality-5 along the Narayangadh-Muglin road section on Friday morning.

The deceased has been identified as 32-year-old Bijaya Rumba of Hetauda Sub Metropolitan City-16.

According to District Police Office, Chitwan, Rumba died in the course of treatment at the hospital.

The accident took place after the ill-fated truck, Na 8 Kha 5200, fell into the river after the driver lost control over the wheels of the truck.

The incident took place at 6 am today.
