COVID-19 infection cases rising in Bagmati Province



KATHMANDU: The number of infection cases in Bagmati Pradesh is increasing of late.

With the infection cases rising, the number of coronavirus patients coming to stay in isolation in the province is also going up every single day.

There are 1,600 isolation wards in 13 districts in the province. A total of 200 people infected with the coronavirus were in the isolation wards as of Thursday afternoon. The number was 174 on Wednesday.

Similarly, as many as 26 people were infected in a single day on Thursday. The number of people staying in isolation on Tuesday was 189 and it was only 58 on Monday, according to the Ministry of Social Development of the province.
