Coronavirus cases jump to 188 in Gandaki Pradesh



KATHMANDU: The number of coronavirus infection cases in Gandaki Pradesh has reached 188.

With new 37 cases, the number of infection cases has surged to 188 on Friday.

According to the Ministry of Social Development of Gandaki Pradesh, 22 people are from Syangja, 13 from Parbat and one each from Nawalparasi East and Tanahun.

They all are males, said Dr Binod Bindu Sharma, Director at the Ministry of Social Development.

The infected in Syangja are 18 males aged between 15 to 66 from Galyang municipality, two from Waling municipality and a three-year-boy from Arjunchaupari rulral municipality.

Similarly, a four-year-old boy has also been infected in Syangja.

Similarly, the age of one among 10 people infected with coronavirus in Parbat is yet to be ascertained.

One each has been infected from Painyu rural municipality and Bihadi rural municipality of Parbat district.

Similarly, another person whose address is yet to ascertained has been infected in Parbat district.
