Blunder again: Tweet from PM Oli’s account mentions ex-Indian PM Singh’s fan account

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Oli has wished a speedy recovery to former Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.

The prime minister took to Twitter on Monday to wish former Indian Prime Minister Singh undergoing treatment a speedy recovery.

In an earlier tweet, PM Oli’s expressed speedy recovery by mentioning Manmohan Singh’s fan account and not his official one.

“I have learnt that former Prime Minister of India, Dr. Manmohan Singh @PManmohansingh has been hospitalized. I wish him a speedy recovery,” reads the tweet by PM Oli that was later deleted.

Singh was admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences on Sunday evening with issues related to chest.

According to Indian media, Singh’s health condition is now normal.

It is not for the first time such blunders have been made from the prime ministers’ official account.

Earlier, a tweet that was written by Indian politician Sonia Gandhi about the tussle between ruling Bharatiya Janata Party and Congress I of India on the issue related to new citizenship law was retweeted from the prime minister’s account.

The case was investigated and it was revealed that Prime Minister Oli’s Twitter account had been “misused” but who did it stills remains a mystery.
