Kapilvastu COVID-19 patients had entered Nepal from India

BUTWAL: Ten persons of Kapilvastu who tested positive for the virus on Monday had sneaked into Nepal from India.

Chief District Officer of Kapilvastu, Dirghanarayan Poudel said that 10 COVID-19 patients had entered Nepal from Mumbai, and various other places of India.

But, it is not clear yet when they had entered Nepal.

All 10 COVID-19 patients were residing in quarantine set up at Anirudra Higher Secondary School in Yasodhara Rural Municipality, Kapilvastu.

The arrangement is made to send the patients to the Butwal-based Corona Special Hospital.

With this, the number of COVID-19 patients in Kapilvastu has reached 15.
