Coronavirus kills 11,123, infects 162, 699 in Brazil



KATHMANDU: Brazil has witnessed a surge in the deaths of people from Coronavirus of late. According to Worldometer, the death toll has reached 11,123 after 467 died in the last 24 hours.

With 6, 638 new cases, the number of infection cases has surged to 162, 699 as of Monday morning.

Currently, 86, 619 people are undergoing treatment at various hospitals in the country, of which 8, 318 are critical. Meanwhile, 64, 957 have recovered after treatment.

Broke out in Wuhan City of China last December, the deadly virus has spread to 212 countries including two international conveyances across the world, killing 283,846 and infecting 4,179,720 people as of Monday morning.
