Former Indian PM Manmohan Singh hospitalized

KATHMANDU: Former Indian Prime Minister and the leader of Indian National Congress Manmohan Singh has been admitted to All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in the capital city New Delhi after he complained of chest pain.

Singh was hospitalized on Sunday evening after he suffered a bout of chest pain, reported India media ANI.

Congress Spokesperson Jaiveer Shergill also confirmed Singh’s admission to the hospital and wished him speedy recovery.

Leader Singh had served as the prime minister of India for two terms from 2004 to 2014.
