Coronavirus kills 249, infects 7, 600 in India



KATHMANDU: The death toll from Coronavirus in India has reached 249 after 22 died in the last 24 hours as of Saturday morning.

With 875 new cases, the number of infection cases has surged to 7, 600, according to the latest figures collated by Worldometer.

Currently, 577 are undergoing treatment at various hospitals across India. Meanwhile, 774 people have returned home after recovery.

Broke out in Wuhan City of China last December, the deadly virus has spread to 210 countries including two international conveyances across the world.

The global Coronavirus death toll has hit 102, 687 across the world with 1,697,533 infected, according to Worldometer.
