Shree Airlines aircraft flies to Sudan to bring NA Lt. Col Bishta’s body



KATHMANDU: An aircraft of Shree Airlines has flown to Sudan to bring back the body of a Nepal Army official.

Nepal Army Lt. Colonel Ridesh Bishta died of cardiac arrest while serving in the Sudan Mission on March 17.

Bishta had been serving in the United Nations Mission in Sudan as Staff Officer for the last nine months.

“An aircraft with Call Singh ‘9N AMB’ of Shree Airlines on Saturday flew to Sudan to bring back the body of Bishta,” informed Bigyan Dev Pandey, spokesperson of the Nepal Army.

According to him, the aircraft will arrive with the body in Kathmandu on Sunday.

Bishta who was associated with Directorate of Ombudsman of Nepal Army was from Sanepa, Lalitpur.
